College Review

Our college provides every type of facilities. But student placements is very low here. Except that everything is very good here.

We have 9 to 5 classes, teachers are pretty good. All of them are post graduate and some of them are PhD holders. For outside learning our college provide internships which they arrange for us through out the country. As far as industrial visits, yes they take us to visit courts and other places but I usually don't go there because they charge too much for the visit.

Placements are not good In my college. Manu Patra, Lexis Nexis types companies visits our college but for providing long term internships. Highest 35, 000 per month placement a student get and average 2, 00, 000 per annum. No our college does not take special steps for providing placements.

We have so many events in our college 1. One world- all the University branches represents a country. It is a inter college event. 2. One India-all the University branches represents a state of India. It is a inter college event 3. Youth vibe-its inter university event all the colleges and universities of Punjab are invited in it. 4. Concerts- all the famous singers, celebrities visits our university every month. 5. National moot court 6. Conferences of different branches 7. Many of the sports events 8. Indian science congress also organized by lpu.

College fee is very expensive here. My fee is 75k per semester and total 10 semester I have. Additionally 2k for examination fee. Online as well as offline both ways we can submit fee. Yes college provide fee-breakdown. I live in university hostel for that I pay 70k excluding food.

I opted for scholarship. I score 70 % marks in lpu nest exam and I got scholarship of 15k. Lpu also provide scholarship on the basis of 12th percentage.

Gender ratio is 2:3. We have boys and girls equally. Our university is gender neutral. Still no. Of boys are more in university than girls. Girls and boys are not allowed to live together in same rooms. We have separate boys hostel and separate girls hostel. Our university have 0% tolerance against any sexual harassment. Our university has mixed culture all of us are from different states, countries, religion etc. University does not discriminate on the above grounds.

Yes I opted for hostel. I share my room with 2 other girls. Lpu has variety of rooms available. Single room, 2 sharing 3 sharing 4 sharing and 8 sharing rooms are available. Apartments are also provided.

I have less interaction with my seniors as I am an introvert. But yes I do have some senior friends and they help me regarding studies.

Reason for selecting the course is mainly interest to study law. Law is a very interesting field and a vast career options are there after law course. For getting the admission I visited the University fill the form and paid 10, 000 for booking a seat (which was refundable). After that they made me a id card of university and tell me the details of entrance exam lpunest. I cleared the entrance exam and got a scholarship of rs 15,000. After the results I moved to university.

We have 9 to 5 classes. 7-6 lectures in a day. Saturday and Sundays are off. Minimum qualifications of my teachers are post graduation, some of them hold degrees of CS, some of them hold PhD, highest degree is LLD holder in my college. They are expertise in various branches of law. They clarify all Ours doubts and all of them are easily approachable. Average age of my teachers are 30. We have young teachers. All of them are expertise in at least one field of law.
