College review

College was good. No complaints absolutely as we get placed for sure.

Every year we have new syllabus in our curriculum. updated syllabus with best faculty make each and every student understand properly. mostly IT jobs are offered in the campus with huge packages. and the question papers were designed exclusively to grab intelligence from students.

Yeah!! every year we ll have 100+ companies to choose for and almost 85% of the students get placed with average package of 3. 6 lakh per year. we need 6. 5 cgpa without any arrears to crack job and yes the institution take special steps to prepare the students for placements by including pre placements training in the curriculum.

We have three feats every year namely sports-colloseum, technical- daksh, cultural-kuruksastra. and all are celebrated 3 days very effectively. daksh was the South Indian second biggest fest and almost 1000 people from various colleges participate in this event.

For 2017-2021 bath it was 55000 per semester and we ll have 5% increase in the tuition fee every year. hostel fee was 10-25k based on the selection of hostel from second year. every month there ll be mess fee around 3500 for students staying in hostel. For students who entered from 2018 year the semester fee was 65k per year and as usual 5% increase in tuition fee every year.

College ll give scholarships for top 10% students in cgpa and also top 400 students of hostellers. We should have 8cgpa minimum to avail scholarships. 24000 through college scholarships. 16000 through hostel scholarships.

Campus life was too good with 2:1 boy to girl ratio and we don't have reservations so that everyone ll be talented and friendly. There is no racism in the campus. no politics encouraged. we have super specialized labs for every department and we gain prop knowledge through it and computer science students ll have robotics every year.

Yes we have 9 different hostels for boys and 5 hostels for girls. first yeaywe have to stay in the hostel allotted by the university. from second year we ll have an option to choose the hostel and fee ll be based on it. Average rental is 5000 per month (including all). The hostels were too good.

Yeah, obviously we have good association with alumni. As we take proper suggestions before joining the college as it is a life matter. They were really helpful.

I have applied for SASTRA UNIVERSITY through my jee main rank. they released rank on the basis of jeemain score and +2 score. I got 1458 rank and got admission in the university, I have opted civil engineering as I have interest on it. and placements were good.

For every 14 students we have a faculty member in SASTRA UNIVERSITY and almost every subject will have 2 or more faculty members. they were tested and updated regularly through meetings and also they ll have many interactions with students so that everyone can make use of them.
