Review of DBIT

College management is good for some extent. But the placement opportunity provided on campus is very less. Only 2 good company has visited the campus. Else most of the companies were related to sales department. Which was not at all related to our course.

In this course curriculum I have got enough knowledge about the subjects included. But the curriculum did not groom to provide Industry specific knowledge to the students. And was not that helpful in securing on campus placements. And no industrial visits were organized.

Companies like mind tree, endurance, TCS , Jaro, etc have visited the campus. The general steps followed in the recruitment process was written test, GD, technical interview, personal HR interview. About 50% of students are placed every year . Few steps have been taken by the institute to prepare the students for the placement season.

In our college especially our department organized electronica forum every month. And our college organizes ethnic day , college festival, and kannada rajyothsava every year through students association. And there will be a open chance to all students to participate in the different types of competition organized.

My course fee for every year is 1.6lakh. college accepts the online mode of payment as well as direct transaction from the bank. No additional charges had to be paid to secure admission. And also the college provide transparency in the fee breakdown.

The common scholarship provided to all engineering students is karepass or epass scholarship. Perceiving engineering is only criteria required to avail this scholarship. No other special scholarship is offered by the college. I have availed a educational loan from corporation bank by following the procedure of the bank.

Gender ratio is almost equal. The college has provided the students with many number of workshops and also provide opportunity to participate in cultural society programs. There is no problem related to race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

No I have not opted for hostel. And also I'm not residing in any PG. I'm a local resident in Bangalore. So I don't have any idea about our college hostel facilities and the cost charged for the hostel students.

Alumni is organized for the pass out batch every year. Usually college with the help of Junior students association organize the alumni for the senior students. Interaction with the seniors have helped us to take decision regarding academics as well as Junior students association.

I got admitted through management Kota. I choose this institute because I have heard many positive reviews about this college from my seniors . And the admission procedure was quite simple. Met with the admission head. And completed the documentation by filling the required information.

The facilities of the college are quite good. In our electronics and communication department on an average about 25 lecturers are present. All have a minimum qualification required for the post. And some have also done PhD . The age of the faculties may range from 30 to 45. Minimum clarity of the subjects is provided by the lecturers. And some of the lecturers have relevant industry experience.
