Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of courses, physical science, life science and physical education are offered. All these courses have seperate blocks. In life science they cover zoology, botany, anthropology etc and in physical science they cover physics, maths, chemistry etc. My dept. Computer science belongs in this course. I think a student would find one of the courses offered here to their liking.
Placement Experience
I would like to say that my college is the best college in my state. But since the college only offers general course no company visits the campus for recruitment.
College Events
Celebrating cultural or religious festivals in academic institutions is a learning experience – students get to learn about the festival, the reason for the celebration and its significance, says a college faculty. The festivals provide an opportunity for students to respect and participate in events that are not their own. And, they also ensure that students get to showcase talents. Coimbatore college sources say this also promotes harmony among different sections of students, bridging the linguistic and regional barriers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee is cheap in a year only 3500 for Ugs and Mobc. Only 50% of student get a scholarship. No loan system. So I would say that its feasible. Middle class students can also attend the college with facilities like high end colleges. It is a must college to try.

Yes I opted for the ugc scholarship and I got the scholarship for 18 months. It is rupees 5400 per month.
Campus Life
During my first year of college you will be juggling many new experiences: new friends, new living situation, new activities, new classes and new teachers. While a lot of these new experiences are exciting, they can challenge your time-management skills and academic adjustment.
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted for the college hostel. Its is only for students whose home are far from the college. To stay in the college hostel you have to apply first and then take the entrance exam. And u just have to get selected.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes my alumnis and seniors were very helpful to me. When I first got into the college they teach me all sorts of things.
Admission
I took the entrance exam and got accepted into the college way back in 2015 just after I passed the 12th examinations. The entrance results were out in the evening of the same day as the exam took place. After I got selected they called me to admit to my applied department that is Computer Science and that is how I got into the college.
Faculty
I would say that the faculty of the college is pretty good considering the State we are in. It gives the students pretty good facilty like wifi, sports ground, etc. The head of each department hold seminars to increase our knowledge in their respective subjects.
