Remarks

One of the best college of India and It is very well managed.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum here is very good it is very deep and made by many years of research and experience and it continuously changes with time yo adopt new things. Students here are trained not only to get industry based knowledge but to meet the practical and research requirements. Many people even go in research areas after their graduation and IITK has always been known for its good placements. The Curriculum is very important for holistic development for students.

Placement Experience

5

Well, IITK has been always known for its good placements. Every big company like Google, Microsoft, Goldman sachs visits the campus for placement. Around 95% of students who sit for placements get selected. There is a Student placement office SPO in the institute which is there to help students for placements and internship

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure here is very feasible. Tution fee for 1 semester is around 100k and total fees of 140k is required which includes mess and hostel for a sem but most of students get fee waiver by scholarships and alumn reward programs. A full transparency is there in fee breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

Most of students here manage to get scholarship. I got a scholarship of 100% waiver in tution fees which is around 100k. Eligibility criteria for the same is that your parents income should be less than 600k per anum

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio are relatively low as students from all over India come here so the campus is very well diverse and have people of all kind. There are several clubs and societies present over here for cultural development of students. There are many groups like unmukt, women cell which are there for gender awareness

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, Hostel room are good for living. In hostels there are two types of rooms of double occupancy and triple occupancy which are divided among students randomly. They are very well maintained and are cleaned regularly

Alumni/Alumna

IITk has a very strong alumni network. There are very much helpful and when you contact them and just tell them that you are from same college they really help you a lot. Also they provide a big fund to the institute

Admission

I cleared JEE Advanced to get into this college. I got this college through JOSAA counselling. The admission process began around June and on 21 July the college began. I had too much interest in Economics so, that was my reason for choosing Economics branch here.

Faculty

5

Faculty here is very friendly and easy to be approached. You can get any sort of help by just going in their cabins aur by just emailing them. There are approximately 4-5 lectures per day. Faculty here is very experienced and they have their ongoing research work going on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
