Entrance Preview
AMA has its own entrance test and evaluation method. I opted because of the dynamic design of the course that is MBA in international marketing. And also more importantly they do not have Reservation thing, which really was a boiling factor at that moment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was the main USP. Not being part of any university, they were free to adopt and change course as per requirement. The course was designed by IIM-A faculty.
Internships Opportunities
I got to work for Akshayapatra food Sez, it was a good learning experience. We had 2 months of internship related to studies of setting up of food sez. Stipend was 4000 per month.
Placement Experience
Placement was something they lack, as placement never was its priority. Hence we did suffer in terms of placement. But, becuase of excellence and good education they provided, most of us are satisfactory placed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was 1.5L per course at our time including books and daily breakfast. From what we have obtained, fees was very less. It was much better to go for this institute rather than any B grade B school.
Campus Life
Campus life was great, practically we use to be there almost whole day. Although, not much extra curricular activities, but Library was the best. Gender ratio was 5:1 as we were 25 boys and 5 girls. But we use to have VVIP passes for events like vibrant Gujarat.
Alumni/Alumna
They provided good insights and assisted to take admission here which at that time seemed to be risky, and we thank them for that. Most students came from business background were placement wasn't a priority.
Exam Structure
Tri sems. And exams were the most chilled out times. As weightage was around 50% and it gave us time away from our routine assignments and projects.
Faculty
Faculty was up to the mark, although no permanent faculty was there but they use to have best faculties from institute like IIM-A, MICA, Nirma and so on.
