CAT, I had to go for an MBA and CAT is one of the best exams which gets you through one of the best B-schools in the country. The selection process is:atleast 75 percentile in CAT, GD & PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was amazing through all terms. 4 terms in a year and each subject was taught in detail. In Totality we had a decent knowledge on Marketing, Finance, Project management, Entrepreneurship, etc.
Internships Opportunities
Almost more than 60 companies came for internship. The major ones being LG, TCS, TATA, Tally, HomeShop18, Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Sharp, Titan, eClerx, etc. The general stipend offered is around rs. 5000/- per month.
Placement Experience
Placement is okay. An average CTC of around 4.5 - 5.0 LPA. Almost 98% of the students were placed. There were almost 120 companies who came for placements. Major ones being LG, TCS, Tally, Accenture, IBM, ICICI, HDFC, Leela, Taj, etc.
College Events
There are lot of cultural events which happen during the year.Debates, quizzes, entrepreneurial events. This global competition, organized by Shell International Limited, aims to encourage students to develop innovative ideas for tackling energy, water and food issues.
Fee Structure And Facilities
All students are required to pay a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000/- along with the firstinstallment of tuition fees. All students are required to pay INR 3,000/- towards the membership of Alliance Alumni Associationand INR 1,500/- towards the convocation fees along with the first installment of tuition fees.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is strong as every year an alumni event happens in the college and whenever we get time we attend that event. The quality of students who are taken into is really good and the atmosphere is really conducive for studies. Since it is also away from city, it helps students to get in touch with the alumni for any help.
Exam Structure
We have exams almost every week. It happens term-wise. Every year we have 4 terms. We have around 7-8 subjects every term. Within every term, there is a mid-term. So the exams go on like anything and life is super hectic. But you would get used to it very soon and start loving it big time.
Faculty
The faulty is one of the best in the country. You have faculties like Mihir dash for statistics, ray titus for marketing. They are well educated and also have industry experiences.
