BHU is a platform which has provided an exposure to me particularly in the field of world wide research.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam is organised into 2 semesters per year. Fair exams are conducted by the university under tight security. The quality of questions and the level is quite good. The course is also quite good and beneficial for the defined subject. The course covers all entrance examination topics.
Placement Experience
The college doesn't provide any placement offers. We have to hunt for internships by ourselves or volunteer one according to our interest.
College Events
Less of extra curricular activities are conducted. There is only one whole event called Spandan organized by the university. Other small social events are conducted time to time by various department and faculties. One famous event is kashiyatra which is organized by the IIT department and entertains huge participation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. The fees is very meagre and anyone can pay for it. No such additional charges are asked from students. The college provides complete transparency in the fee breakdown. Any middle class family can educate their student at a nominal cost.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes a number of students were eligible for state scholarships, only the UP state students. Otherwise, no such scholarships are there and the fees being too low, there is really no such need.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is approximately 1:1. Labs are all well equipped with world class research. However, less of extra curricular activities are conducted. There is only one whole event called Spandan organized by the university. Other small social events are conducted time to time by various department and faculties.
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the college seniors are very helpful and very successful in their careers. I have really received the best guidance I would have received from them.
Admission
The admission was conducted through an entrance exam conducted in the month of june. We were then called for counseling when our documents were verified by the faculty members and if our merit was high we were eligible for a hostel inside the premises.
Faculty
The lecturers provide quality education with great dedication. Approximately 1 lecture of each subject for 2 hours is conducted each week. Moreover, practical classes are also organised by some distinguished faculty members. Some of the world renowned scientists deliver lectures to students.
