Remarks
I was not getting a core branch in NITs and my preference was for the branch rather than the college and this is one of the best technical institutes in the MP state. So I chose this college. Also, this college is in my home state so it was near to my hometown. The faculties in the civil Engg. the branch is best. The faculties are well experienced with field experience and also the faculties are well qualified. They all are the veteran players of civil Engg. field. The classroom is well equipped with the modern classroom equipment including projector, mike etc. The campus is in the middle of the city, so the marketplaces and mall are near to campus and believe me its one of the best thing. Campus placements are well good for all branches except civil. If you really want the placement in Civil Engg branch then this place is not for you but the placements of other branches are one of the best and highest in the state. There are various activity clubs and societies for your extracurriculars.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I wanted the core branch and it didn't get it any of the good nits so I opt this college instead of any lower nits. As this college is much better than some NITs. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:20. All the faculty members are well qualified with many holding PhD degrees. Exams were as per academic calendar and it was not too difficult nor too easy to pass the exams.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 6th sem. More than 100 companies visit with offers ranging between 4 lacs to 23 lacs. Highest package is 22 lacs and the average package is 5 lacs. Almost all students get placed the non-core background. There is a struggle for core branches. I am planning for higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees were around 70000 a year which was increased by 15000 at the time of my admission and it generally revises in 4-5 years. The students also get a scholarship as per MP govt policies.
Campus Life
Aavaahn os annual techfest of the college and it's generally conducted on the month of February. The library of the college is one of the biggest libraries in the state with various facilities such as ebooks and computer labs. Classrooms are equipped with a projector, Pc, speakers, mikes etc.
