Ramaiah College is a famous college in Bangalore, that was the reason I had chosen this college. It follows Bangalore University and fee structure for BA journalism is comparatively less in this college which is around 36,000 per year for localities. We have a separate journalism lab where we are acknowledged with various practical concepts of Journalism. The faculties in the BA department are very kind and helpful when compared to other departments of the college. You can apply to this college online or by going directly to the college for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows the Bangalore University syllabus which is mostly theory. The college gives a lot of importance to theoretical knowledge. The faculties are highly qualified with a minimum qualification of a Master's degree. The student ratio is around 80 students which is a really good college atmosphere. The teacher is very friendly and are they to help at any time of need. They ensure that they cover the syllabus in time. It's easy to pass the exams with the guidance of teachers and their notes.
Placement Experience
Journalism is a course after which you can get into any newspaper organizations or media field. The university has a placement cell providing various job opportunities for the course.

The minimum package provided by the university is 2lpa with a maximum of 5lpa. I got a job in Concentric with a package of 2lakh per annum.
Campus Life
The college campus is vast and amazing to make use of. It has a fest organized every year in the month of January which is really fun. It has several sports clubs, NCC and NSS opportunities for students. Other than these they organize literature club, science club for students to take part in.
