Remarks
Manipal is famous all around India for the student life, infrastructure and abundance of opportunities. It is a college which does more than train a student academically. It provides ample opportunities for holistic development & I would recommend it to every aspiring student. So do beware of these students. They will try to make money from you whenever they can.
Course Curriculum Overview
Manipal is well known for its mechanical course. Also, it does have good faculty with plenty of knowledge. However, the strength is too big for 1 lecturer to handle. Nevertheless, exams are held frequently.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from their final year. They have to do well in their exams & co-curricular activities. A few major companies do come for recruitment but they have a target goal which they rarely exceed. Most of the students do get placed but there are always a few who miss out. I plan to do masters abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
4L on average for the core streams. No scholarships as far as I know even though I got in through merit by their entrance tests.
Campus Life
Tons of fests are organised here, almost on a monthly basis. The library is huge with a lot of resources. Classrooms are pretty spacious with a few being air-conditioned as well.
