My experince in LBRCE

The admissions were categorised into two categories. The first is based on rank obtained in the APEAMCET and the other is management category. For the first category, the students who have cleared the APEAMCET can go through the counselling procedure by the government during the month of June or July. For management category, one needs to pay a donation and confirm the seat with the institution directly. The college is very much favourable for the students to study and enhance their skill set required for the industry. The fee is also affordable. The college atmosphere is very enthusiastic. The faculty here are sound at domains they teach and help students gain skills. The college also encourages students in sports. The major drawback of the college is it is far away from the city of Vijayawada. It takes nearly one hour to reach the campus from vijayawada. Another drawback is the hostel provided by the college is not upto the mark compared to the fee they charge.

The curriculum of college follows is updated for every 3 years to meet the industry requirement. Especially the Electronics department in the college is known for its discipline and dedication. The faculty-student ratio of college is better than the ratio prescribed by the AICTE. The department is also accredited with NBA tier-I which shows the dedication and determination of faculty towards the students. The minimum qualification of the faculty is post-graduation and many members of the department hold a PhD in their respective domain. The college collects timely feedback from the students about the teaching methods followed by faculty in order to ensure qualitative teaching. The term exams were conducted from time to time. The internal assessment was very fair and it is quite easy to score good internal score. The students who score good internal marks have a good change in clearing the end exams as the end examinations are quite hard.

The students become eligible for placements in the 6th semester. There are many companies which visit the campus and recruit the students. Major recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys. Mostly 60% of the eligible students are placed every year. The highest package varies from 4 to 6 LPA. The average package is around 2 LPA.

The fee was 78800 for our batch and it was hicked by about 20K for the subsequent batches. The fee will be decided by the committee from the government. The students for economic weaker section can get the scholarship from the government. The college provides various intensives for the academic toppers and for the students with full attendance.

There are majorly two events taking place in the college which are LAKSHYA the technical fest of the college which is conducted in the month of December and the annual day which is organised in the month of February. The college has a library which has a sound quantity of books which include textbooks, magazines, E-journels. There is also a digital library which can be accessed by the students. Every classroom is being provided by the ICT tools which enhance the better learning experience. The college also provides good facilities for sports & for yoga. There is an indoor stadium, a football ground, a basketball ground, a tennis court, a kho kho courts and two volleyball courts. There are many clubs such as SPOORTHI the literary club and PRAKRUTHI the environment clubs run by the students.
