Bit Sindri is a very nice college with huge campus size and one of the best institution in jharkhand for pursuing BTech.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes our curriculum are groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to us. Like in whole 4 year course we can work as an intern for any company. We also go for voccational Training at various companies like NTPC, SAIL, TATA motors, TCS, Vedanta etc.
Placement Experience
L&T, Tata Motors, TCS, TCS Ninja, Honda, Vedanta, Byjus, Fitjee, Infosys, Darmiya etc. Approximately 45 percent of students get placement every year.
College Events
Bit Sindri organises Cultural event called BIT sharad utsav in which so many cultural activities like drama, dance, songs are performed by students of our college. Our college also organises event for social cause like ERC organised by Rotary Dhanbad in association with Rotary Sindri. It also organises technical fest called Shandhan, Triveni by technical clubs of college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government college So fee of this college are moderate. Like for a boy student it costs near 40000 per year including mess and hostel and for a girl student it costs nearly 33000 for an year. No there is no additional fee payment in our college to get admission in it as it always sees the merit list. It has a transpiracy in fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
I've applied for e kalyan scolarship which is given by jharkhand govt. in order to help weaker section of people to pursue higher education. For e kalyan students of obc, sc/ st categories can only apply. The students who've been allowed their seats through tfw category given relaxation in tution fee of college.
Campus Life
College has very big campus of about 700 acres. And the bonding between students are so good. As it is an engineering college so it has slightly low sex ratio. The college provide the one of the finest incubation centre of jharkhand where a student can furnish his brain about startups and all. It also has more than 30 workshops but some of them are not functioning properly due to lack of maintenance.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I've opted for hostels. In the very 1st year of 4 year course students have to share their room with 4 other students. And from 2nd year sharing is done with 3 other student and for 3rd and 4th year separate rooms are provided to the hostellers.
Alumni/Alumna
College Seniors are just awesome and they too take care of their juniors. They guide their jounirs in every difficult situations. Most importantly clubs play an important role in interacting with seniors.
Admission
Bit Sindri is the best college in jharkhand which is run by Jharkhand Govt. itself. It also has nice placement record. 300 students placed in 720 students. Infrastructure is also well maintained. Qualified jee mains with 56286 AIR. Submitted JCECB counselling form got 192 rank in merit list. Chosen Mechanical Engineering.
Faculty
There are generally about 200 lectures organised for each subject in an year. Accordingly to hierarchy the students get their course completed with in 24 years of their age. Technical lectures are organised inside the college like AutoCAD, NX graphics designing etc. providing certificates of the course.
