VVP Engineering College Review

Good - infrastructure, ground, location, lab equipments, events, scholarships based on scores.

It is affiliated with GTU, So follows the same course curriculum and structure. Even lab equipments and infrastructure and faculty is good. The only flaw is find, which is a big one though is that they only focus on theory and marks on scoring in GTU. they don't care about practical learning or placements of students.

The placement of this college is not so good. They call local companies only and most of the feels oriented companies want only male candidates for jobs which leaves. is girls finding jobs in our own. only local companies visited and they offered no more than 8000 a month package which feels like nil after this much studying.

Events were carried or of a regular basis. but if you are into sports and want good sporting competitions then this isn't your place. other than that technical events, tech fests etc were carried out nicely. Even one National event was held during my course years. We managed it mostly as we were the most seniors then. it was good.

My fees was around 30000 per semester. it is moderately feasible as other private colleges demanded much more than that. Yes there is transparency in fee breakdown. There isn't any additional charges which are told you after admissions. It is a good transparent system.

I did not avail any loans. VVP did offer scholarships based on marks every semester and even on the base of 12th marks. They even provided a decent laptop on scholarship during the course.

Campus Life was really cool and awesome. Labs were of God quality. The extra curriculars were held but only the technical ones. Sports was not that much active. technical competitive such as photography, robotics, make from scrap etc were held in the tech fests. The gender ratio was good only. except in mech and civil departments but where is this dept gender equal anyway.

The seniors were helpful. There was never any ragging done my whole course life. The seniors were inserted just like friends and helped whenever asked. though it is more individual based question. but overall they were nice enough people.

Through 12th exam and gujcet marks. admission process was the same as of gtu colleges. online we had to submit details about our marks and our priorities of colleges then based on the cutoff and the feild we choose the colleges would give the list of students qualified for their course. then visit the college and book a seat after paying the entering fees.

The faculty was good overall. But they are too marks oriented. they don't care about practicals or making students learn. all they care about is scoring good in GTU so their college ranking goes up in Gujarat. The problem lies within the while system itself though.
