College

College is the most important part of every student's life. A student gets to learn many important things from their college, from their peers and from their techers. I love my college as I have got to learn so many good things from my college which will definitely help me in my future endeavours. Right from learning important accounting lessons in the classroom to learning life lessons and still the desire for learning and to grab more knowledge will continue.

Course curriculum is excellent as they provide us classes in quite good subjects like banking and insurance management, account and taxes, corporate accounting, bank mangement and some generals commerce subjects like finance management, cost accounting and so on. Talking about exam, 4 semesters are conducted throughout the 2 years of the course. The projects are quite research driven and result oriented. It helped me to gain an insight into company's actual way of functioning which is going to help in my future corporate life.

Great opportunity for internship. The companies that visited my college are Wipro, Tata consultancy services, concentrix, Hdfc, Icici, RBS. Others companies such as Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, HUL, finance companies like Muthoot, IDFC, Exide life insurance also visit our college campus gor internship opportunities. Institution takes special interest in helping each candidate to prepare gor the internship and get selected. Project preparation is compulsory for each student during the final semesters and this helps the student in gaining a corporate experience and exposure and understanding the corporate environment.

The events celebrate d in our college includes Ganesh puja, swaraswati puja, teachers day, children's day, farewell party and welcome party, annual function of the college and other cultural events. Every function is held on a grand scale and is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm with the active participation of the student and the faculty members.

My program fee is around 1 lakh PA. The different modes of payment which the college accepts are cheques, bank drafts and also the college has its own tie up with Syndicate Bank, which helps students to easily deposit the payment directly to the college. No additional fees or charges is accepted by the college for the admission. Its only the admission charges and the exam fees. Yes college providea a transparency in the fee-breakdown.

I have not taken any scholarship or loans for the education. Although students get an opportunity to get scholarships, the criteria depends on their average marks obtained in the semesters. The average marks being 70%.

Our college not being biased on any grounds provides equal opportunity to both the boys and the girls irrespective of gender, race, religion, etc. Workshops are conducted in the college for students to gain a knowledge in several feilds such as art, culture, dance workshop and so on. Students of the college are very co-operative and helpful and there no bullying of new commers in the college whatsoever.

No, I have not opted gor any hostel facility as my home is quite close to the college. But, talking about hostel, our college has quite a good hostel facility for both boys and the girls. They have separate hostels for boys and girls near the college campus. The hostel has been able to accommodate all the student easily. And if not there are many pgs nearby the college and it is available at a very affordable prices for the students. Overall, eveyone can get a place for them to live nearby the college at prices affordable to them.

College alumni and faculty staff are very cooperative with the student and are ready to help the student with their problems. During project preparation senior students are always ready to help juniors with their knowledge and resources.

I opted for commerce because I always wanted to go in the finance and bankers proffession. By studying commerce I was able to get an insight to accounting, taxes, management and many more subjects helpful for geeting a job in the banking proffession. I got admission to the college by merit selection. Admission process is simple like filling up the forms online and then after selection you can complete the admission process by visiting college.

Enough number of lectures are given the college fir each subject. Each topic and subject is covered at length by the faculty members with clearing if student's doubts. Lecturers are experienced members with PhD degrees and members from reputed universities.
