About Bharath University

Overall Bharath University is one of the best college and I'm proud to say that I'm Bharath University Student.

The course curriculum is fairly related to the exam structure and is very relevant to the recent trends and the job opportunities. Students get a lot of knowledge not only in the subjects as well as the outer professional knowledge and there will be an industrial exposure to the students as well as internship opportunities will be provided.

Our college has a separate Placement cell that deals with the placements for students. There are many MultiNational Companies visiting our college for placements. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, etc visit our college for placements as well as provide internships for the 3rd year and the 4th year students. We also have special placement training for students from the beginning of the first year and many career development courses are conducted.

A National Level Technical Symposium will be conducted where students from different colleges take part in it. Many workshops and industrial visits will be conducted by various companies where the students actively take part in them and gain a lot of knowledge.

The fee structure is feasible and is affordable for everyone. There is even the scholorship opportunities being provided for the merit students. There is no seperate admission fee to be paid for the college. Merit scholorships and awards will be provided to the students in various departments.

The college offers 100 perecbment scholorship for the top 100 students in the test aswell as 75 percent to 50 percent depending on their marks scored. To avail 100 percent Scholarship the students should score 9.8 CGPA in their intermediate or be in top 100 students list.

The boys to girls ratio will be 3:2 and there are many workshops conducted by Various departments where girlams can actively take part in them. There is no religion, racism or gender discrimination. Equal opportunities are provided to both boys and girls. There is no discrimination on the basis of their economic status or politics. All are treated equal and equal opportunities for everybody.

The seniors are very helpful. They guide us in alk the ways. They support ua and help us in projects. We maintain a mutual cooperation and a good relationships among the seniors and juniors. Especially there is no ragging in the college and Anti ragging squad is also present. If any difficulty in the college students can directly report to the college officials.

After I completed my Intermediate I was wondering which college to join and was in search of all the colleges in Tamilnadu. Since my aim is to become a software engineer so I chose Btech in the stream of Computer Science and Engineering. Bharath University is one of the top college in chennai as well as in Tamilnadu with an affordable fee structure for everyone. Firstly there will be an entrance exam to get a seat in the college and then the selected candidates will be called for counselling. After the couselling the admission procedure is to be done by filling the admission form and paying half of the tution fee and the hostel fee.

Each of the dept consists of atleast a 60-80 lectures who all are mostly phd done staff. They are very encouraging, supportive and helps the students in all the aspects. Training sessions will be conducted to the lectures as well to increase the industrial relevant knowledge and enhance the knowledge in students towards research.
