Entrance Preview

I had given gujarat common entrance test in 2009 and scored 84 marks out of 120 marks. I choose my college because of my home town in valsad.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. in the 5th semester we got an elective of chemical engineering that will not been helpful in my carrier. Its better to give an electives that help to specialize us in our stream. Rest is very good in government engineering college valsad.

Internships Opportunities

There is no such internship with stipend but after 6th semester we have to take a training of 1 month in our particular stream and that help us to better clarify practically.

Placement Experience

Placement cell of government engineering college, Valsad is not bad. But if we are perfect than we surely get job in this competitive world. Packages offered is nearly abot 1.5 lakh per annum. There are various company came in government engineering college valsad for placement.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

I applied for 3 colleges like gec,valsad. ,gec,bhuj and L.E.college,morbi. Due to admission prossece i get admission in gec,valsad. I like to get admission there because this is near surat,faultys are good. Admission process is do through acpc as your acpc rank.
