Remarks

I Applied for this college because of the various factors mentioned below: (a) One of the best Colleges in north India. (b) Having a great advantage of exposure because of being situated on the Panjab University campus, which is very well organized. (c) The college is present in Chandigarh - "The city beautiful". (d)Experienced faculty are there to teach and guide throughout the course. (e) Great placement records.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science, because of my interest in exploring programming languages and apart from this, there is an ample amount of opportunity for computer science students to get placements in top companies visiting UIeT, Chandigarh like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. Faculty: Student ratio is: 1 faculty for 30 students. A lot of faculties have done their PHD, and all of them have done their masters. Also, faculties have published a number of research papers in various fields. Their teaching methods are very good and enables students to explore new things.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 79000 per year

Placement Experience

students become eligible for placements after the 7th semester. Various companies visited along with a number of placements offer are Deloitte- 43, Infosys -92, KPMG -30, AMazon -2, etc. The highest package offered is from Amazon - 30 LPA. and the average package is - 7LPA. Percentage of a student getting placed is 95 % in CSE/IT and 80b % overall. My plans after getting degrees are to do the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure for B.E/B. Tech is 79000 per year.- The scholarship is provided based on various criteria which include EWS, One girl child, etc. Earn while you learn scheme is there to provide assistance to needy students. I got jobs on campus with companies like Clicklabs, Etrade solutions, etc.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very enjoyable. We have a techno-cultural fest named GOONJ which is organized in February each year, and participation from colleges all over north India is entertained. -Various clubs in the college are EDC, BPC, Osmium, Rotaract Club Himalayan, etc. -Various sports like basketball, football are played on the ground present on the campus.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

my college: pros and cons

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
