Quality resonates forever.

Well this college showed me why it is reputed in the industry and why everyone keeps talking about it's golden old days but the management has to be blamed for the downfall that it is suffering. Though, they've started to work again from this year.

CAT 2013 : 82 percentile, MAT September 2013 : 95.6 percentile. I had given interviews at different colleges for my MBA/PGDM viz. NDIM, BIMTECH Noida, Christ College Bengaluru, EMPI Business School, etc. And I got selected in all of them barring Christ College Bengaluru. Now, this was a difficult choice to make as BIMTECH had a good reputation and NDIM is ever-present through its marketing. But I chose EMPI as one of my relative staying in Delhi told me that this college had an amazing reputation once upon a time, though to be very honest I'd never heard of it. Also, MBAGuru coaching institute had put it on the list of best MAT colleges in NCR. So, I chose it over every other college. This was actually based on my hunch.

I've done PGDM in Finance and Marketing and the subjects that comprise the curriculum are, marketing management I and II, Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communication, Brand Management, Marketing of Services, Sales and Distribution Management, Rural Marketing, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Financial Markets, Treasury Forex and Working Capital Management, Financial Strategic Management, Financial Derivatives and Risk Management, Security Analysis, Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, Excel for Finance, Financial Modeling using Excel, and other core management subjects.

There were a few good offers from leading banks, wealth management companies, etc. Regarding stipend, the college doesn't demand for any stipend for the internship duration but still some students got around 5k per month and one student got 15,000/- a month.

Placements are good and some reputed companies visit the campus regularly. Though the average CTC is around 3.5 lacs per annum. But it depends on the quality and knowledge of the student as well.

Durga Puja is the biggest event at EMPI. It's usually a 3 day affair and it's amazing other than this, there is a habit of celebrating every festival in the campus. Annual day is used to give away the scholarships to worthy students.

Fee structure is good. It's not that expensive. It's comparable to that of other colleges in it's competition. The accounts department provides one with a sheet which contains the fees structures of a number of colleges compared to each other and EMPI does well in that.

Scholarships are awarded to students holding good academic record and a lot of other scholarships are also there.

Not so great there are not many competitive activities happening but one can enjoy the campus life well. There is an amphitheatre, a basketball court which can be used as a volleyball court, badminton court, even cricket pitch there are equipments fit playing table tennis.

Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus but the speed is not great. Mess food is just about alright campus is amazing and is situated in a picturesque backdrop of chattarpur farmhouses.

The alumni base of this college is amazingly strong there are alumni working at C-level posts in renowned companies. There is a Facebook page with the name EMPI Fraternity on which a lot of alumni are active.

Exams are quite hectic at EMPI. One has to use in every ounce of energy and all the concentration of oneself in order to get good results.

Just one word for the faculty worldclass very experienced and amazing visiting faculty all the important subjects are covered by them and they're unlike any other teacher that I've ever learnt from.
