R.D ENGINEERING COLLEGE - COMPLETE REVIEW

R.D engineering college is known for its discipline and hard-working faculty. The campus has lustrous greenery and a great environment. The teachers are very helpful and supportive. The College campus has several labs that are too well equipped. Whereas the campus infrastructure is somewhat outdated. Also, extracurricular activities are very less like students only get to enjoy at college fest and sports meets which means once a year. Admission Process:- The admission process start soon in January and continues till May end. A student can take admission either through counselling after giving the UPSEE exam on the basis of their rank or else a student can apply on the basis of their intermediate marks under the management quota. The college works hard in order to make students the best in their respective fields. The placement percentage is quite high compared to other colleges.

I choose B.Tech computer science as I"M keenly interested in coding. From 11th class, I was highly fascinated by the features of various programming languages. Our college follows the guidelines of A.K.T.U and the course curriculum is the same as that provided by the university. The college has a good number of teachers with great knowledge and experience. The student ratio in our college is appreciable as our college promotes and follows the principle of "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao", therefore the college almost has equally no boys and girls. The faculty in our college is highly qualified, most of the teachers have done masters in their respective subjects and had a great and interactive way of teaching. In our college, term exam is conducted once a semester whereas the college conducts various tests and exam-like practise tests, semester and pre-university exams in order to help children to analyse their progress. Any student can pass the term exam if he/she is sincere in their studies

the college provides a number of placement. The student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Various companies like Novoinvent, NIIT Technologies, Capgemini, PS Quick IT and many other companies have visited the campus with around 10-15 openings. the highest package offered is 6lpa and the average package is 3.5 LPA. The various profiles offered are java developer, system engineer, data analyst, system trainee, etc. I will work in an IT company.

Students need to pay around 1.15 lakh every year approx. The fee structure is very feasible and the fee hike policy is moderate. The student is provided with various scholarships provided by the U.p government and college trust. A student who can not submit their fees on their own can apply for the scholarship and can pay the fees once the scholarship is provided. The college provides complete support to the student to get their scholarship. I was selected by two through campus placement named MECHLIN TECH and NIIT Technologies with a package of 2.5lpa and 3.5lpa respectively.

The annual fest name "Mirage" is conducted either in February or March as suitable containing various technical, cultural, and other activities. The technical fest is held two days before the annual fest every year. The college library has enormous books with good quality and content. The class is spacious, air-conditioned, with a whiteboard. A 3-day sports meet is conducted every year that contains several sports for all including the staff. Various types of seminars and presentations are conducted throughout the year by the college. The college's main website is run by the CSE group student whereas the ECE has its own website for various events.

If a student wants admission through counseling then he/she has to go only through a personal interview. Whereas, if the student applies directly then he/she may have to give a test plus the person interview depends on the marks one has secured in the 12th class. The test contains basic question from class 11th and 12th and the PI round generally include an introduction , interest, why you want to take the respective branch and some few more questions related to your interest.
