Better experience in college

Till last year my college was not so much indulged in organising fests and events but now it started such activities and shown interest in all such events. The college mainly focuses on hardworking and better studies.

After passing my 12th boards exam i decided to do one year coaching classes for most prestigious engineering exam i.e IIT but i have failed to clear the exam to get in to IIT then after i gave state exam of u.p. in which i got sufficient rank to get a better private institution for engineering. After rounds of counselling i got admission in g.l bajaj institute of greater noida and now i am a second year student persuing B.Tech.

The course of B.Tech is very vast and it has total course of four years. Every single year has two semesters. Each semester has three sessional exams and 6 subjects to study. You have to pass in every individual subject to move further. First year has all subjects in common for each branch but from second year the subjects become selective according to your prescribed branch. Each semester has one elective subject i.e evs for first year,laser,cyber security,microprocessor and many more from the second year.

Though i am a second year student and i am not till indulged in internship. Thats why i dont know much about the internship programs of my college but i have heard from the seniors of my college that the internship from this college is quite good many companies like oracle,tcs,python,java,larsen and turbo organise there workshops here during summer days and summer training programs through which the students do there internships and get certificates and stipened.

The placement record of my college is very good almost all the engineering students get placed somewhere the placement track for cse and it branch is very good many companies like tcs. lt and all visit the campus for placement last year 97 percent students of computer science branch got placed.

There are not so many events organised during my till now B.Tech journey but few of them which i memorise are the movie promotion by kapil sharma,sports meet held this year,jabong turf war and the event by dj varun,the robotics competion took place few days back which was organised by IIT delhi.

The fee structure of all the engineering colleges of uptu is scheduled by the uptu council but the fee structure of my colleges is very high in comparison to other affiliated colleges of uptu including the other charges,tution fee and all total fee is rs 1 lakh 41 thousand. Which is quite high in comparison to other uptu engineering colleges.

The up government gives a good scholarship for the students studying in the colleges under uptu. Last year i got 63200 rupees scholarship money from the government.

My college is pretty good for studies,many robotics events get organised here and extracurricular activities also takes place but the main focus of the college is on studies and knowledge only. Many sports competitions alsotake palce,various time to time debate competitions and cultural events for hostelers is organised by the hostel comittee. Competitions in gaming world takes place here in hostel premises.

The hostel facility in my institution is verry good it has enough place for the students to get occupied. There is seperate building for first year students and seniors. The mess also is seperated for both the years so that there is no arguement among the first year students and senior students.

Though my experience with the seniors of my college or alumnous interaction is not so good because i am generally not a good in interacting with seniors but the seniors here helped me during semester exams but telling me the important topics to study and after my college i use to play cricket with my seniors during that time they use to tell me how to get better marks share there experience with the placement cell and a lot.

The examination schedule followed by the engineering colleges is very much hectic. Whole session is passed out in giving exams from time to time. There are total three sessional exams and one semester exam per semester i.e total of 6 subjects,18 internal exams and six external exam with practical exams.

The college faculty is pretty good and most of the teachers are b.tech+m.tech from any prestigious institute there are more then enough teachers for every individual subject and teachers are available during off days also for doubt clearing sessions. The faculty members organise extra classes also for week students and they use to interact with the parents of every student and tell them regarding the study of the students.
