Admission process - in order to get admission in this college your JEE rank is considered, a rank of around 70000 - 150000 will get you computer science branch in this college, it varies year to year. In the month of July admission starts, you have to mp government portal and select this college. You have to get at least 55% to get admission to this college. Pros- 1. Placement of the college is very good (90% of students get placed ) average package of this college (computer science ) 4-4.5 lakhs and the highest package was 16.5 lac 2. Good to decent faculty. 3. Location of the college Cons - 1. No research facility. 2. The infrastructure is not so good. 3. 75% Attendance is compulsory in this college, you are given internal marks based on your attendance. 4. The library and labs are mostly outdated. 5. Less internship culture. I chose this college because of the placement of this college many Tech companies visit this college like Amazon, Tcs, Wipro, Vmware, Infosys, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is almost the same as many colleges in India, the faculty in this college is are decent to good. Some faculty are very nice and very helpful but some are not so very arrogant, most faculty in this college are Ph.D. holders. The students to teacher ratio of this college are about 1:30 during labs and 1:60 during a lecture. The exam is not difficult 3-4 days of studies will fetch good marks in the semester exam but in mid semesters you have to study as teachers are strict on giving marks.
Placement Experience
This college is famous for college placement, about 90 - 95 % of students get placed in the computer science branch with an average package of 4-5 lac per annum and it reduces for another branch. The high package of the college is 16.5 lac. Various Tech companies like Amazon, Vmware, Oracle, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc visit the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of computer science is about- 77000 per year and it gets a hike of 5 percent every year, And you have to pay a bus fee of 14000 per year. Apart from government scholarship, no financial aid is provided by the college.
Campus Life
The campus life is somewhat boring as there is more focus on studies rather than co-curricular activities. One one tech fest occur yearly which is "planet engineer" and in every two-year "shristi " the cultural fest but in the first-year student are not allowed to take part in the fest, The library is big but so e-book and journals are not present in the library College doesn't promote extracurricular activities but there is some club such as hackathon club, poet club, dance, and radio club is present but participating is very less.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has 2 and 3 shared rooms, the hostel is allowed only for first-year students. The quality of food is average and food is provided 4 times a day and a Sunday special food is provided. During college registration you are given the option for a hostel but it is giving on a first come first serve basis.
