I took the CAT exam and scored 92.4 percentile. I chose Great Lakes because it was a 1 year program for the candidates who already had a decent corporate experience and gave us a leap in career in a short span of time. I did not contain any internship programs but asked to do a complete annual project which offered more learnings.

I was divided into 7 semesters in a year where first 3 semesters were general .For all irrespective of any specialization and last 4 semesters were subjects involving the specialization you chose along with the annual project.

The one year program I attended did not have any internship program but instead had a annual project which needs to be done in groups in last 3 semesters.

Placements are excellent and starts in the last 3 semesters of the college. Companies pouring in are from all the sectors like IT, Manufacturing, Real Estate, FMCG, Retail, Banking & financial sectors, Automobile companies.

In 2012 Great Lakes had a fee of Rs 13,00,000 and currently I hear is Rs 17,00,000. It is little expensive but the earn back option and growth is also tremendous in career as it is a one year program. Loan are available very easily.

There is no loan provided by the college but loans from banks are easily available as the college has a strong tie up with many banks. At the end of the year depending on the CGPA the college provides scholarships of Rs5lakh - Rs10 lakh to the deserving candidates and is announced in the convocation ceremony.

Life on campus is excellent with a very lively atmosphere around. There are sports like Basket ball, Foos ball, Football, table tennis, Chess and many more things. There are also many debates, Dance programs and internal programs in college going on. Extra curricular events in college are excellent with also film airing and film review events one in every 2 weeks.

There is a strong alumni network with regular alumni meetings happening in every state once a year which brings every alumnus together. there is also a strong network for job hunt in alumni meets in case people are looking for swtich.

Exam happens after every semester. They are either in multiple choice question or essay exams. There are few subjects which would not need any exam for evaluation but the assignments would do the same.

Faculty were both in house and called from other colleges. Faculty included calling professors from colleges like XLRI, SP jain, IIM C, IIM K, Narsee Monji etc.
