Remarks
I don't really have any bad remarks though but I want to suggest that if they get more good faculty then it will come into par with top colleges.
Entrance Preview
EAMCET 40000. College had a good progress. My brother too was studying in the same college so I had an idea of its standard. During the counselling process I had many options but I did not have knowledge about the colleges. I did not even know their locations. So in hurry I had opted for HITAM.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I selected is computer science engineering. This course mainly dealt with computer subjects. First year was same subjects for all the different branches. From second year we had different subjects. Second was having two parts sem1 and Sem2. Similarly third semester too had Sem one and Sem two. Final year had one am and other am is project work. We used to have internal and externals also.
Internships Opportunities
Our college had a location change when we were in third year due to which not many companies came for recruitment but we have written aptitude tests from which we got cAlls. Stipend was around 1.5 lakhs per annum initially.
College Events
We used to celebrate Independence Day by giving out trophies to the the winners of various indoor and outdoor games held prior to the Independence Day. Then we used to have cultural fest every year. Horizon is the name of our cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is first year : 12000 second year: 16000 third year : 16000 fourth year : 16000. Which came to 58000 for the complete course. I think course was not very expensive. It was feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college gave out scholarships for the SC students. It took minimum from them. And I am not sure of the loans.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 1:4 for girls: boys. We did not have any intolerance towards gender. They came up with good workshops and activities. We had many indoor and outdoor games available
Hostel Facilities
Since it is a day school we did not have hostels. It was a 9 to 5 college. But yes we had a canteen. Initially the canteen was not good but they improved the canteen standards in our new location. Food was good.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good. Every year they have a alumni get together. They invite us all. We also meet our seniors and get to know about the career opportunities
Exam Structure
We were very busy with exams all through the year. Since we had internals and externals it was a tight schedule. Labs exams were also done.
Faculty
Our college faculty was really good. Everyone had good experience and they knew how to make the students get the subject. They were also friendly at the same time by helping out in organising fests.
