Remarks

Firstly and fore-mostly it is the only women’s college of vijayawada city. Which makes it quite an easy pick for girls who want a little leverage over freedom. Secondly, it has a reputation of being modest and giving best possible aid for its students to become independent. Which exactly was my reason to chose this college. Lectures mostly are well versed on subjects. But as it is a college and not university we have limited resources but also an unlimited access to it, which makes worth considering the college. Here comes the best part, you get freedom to chose whether or not you attend placements and also a very good training for doing good at placements. Lectures are friendly and affectionate, absolutely ragging free campus. Delicious food is available throughout college time. Added advantage is you can literally go to your professors and ask them the doubt again and again and find them helping you irrespective of them being your allotted lecturers or not! And bonus is fest!

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It’s a no brainer now in information era to not chose computer science engineering or information technology as your course specifically if your not interested in core engineering. So I chose computer science engineering as my course when I have to chose between it and information technology. Per department there are 6-8 classes of students. And per each department there are 12-20 lecturers. But there are two class incharges as in a lecturers allotted per each class to take care of the students. Final years are taken extra care by splitting them into groups of ten students each assigned to one lecturer to take their inputs and give suggestions implying to their issues with class work or training. This college is not autonomous and it is affiliated to JNTUK, the exam’s difficulty level is completely on JNTUK. Sometimes evaluation gets ugly but that’s life we have to take that sportively and prepare well next time. I had my share of hard lucks as well. I completed with 7.44.

Placement Experience

Right after 3rd year first sem we are given training for placements, as part of our daily schedule we have training classes. We are firstly prepared for national talent hunts of MNCs like tcs, Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree, cognizant, IBM etc and then there are startup’s which keep visiting college for placements. We have also pool drives at ours and other college campuses. Companies like Sutherlands, Juspay, Talentio etc closely 20 such companies have visited our college for placement drives. Total of 100+ students got placements. Highest salary offered this year was 14lpa being a Cisco placement. And average salary is around 3.5lpa . 60 percent students are willing to work and out of them 30 percent get placed. Out management tried hard to help the rest too. I just got offered from few companies , so am waiting to receive my joining letter as soon as they provide me with joining date I shall gladly join that company and kick start my professional life.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year is 52000 if you join by management seat otherwise depends on your EAMCET rank and government reimbursement plans. We have to pay university fee of 3,500 every semester. Regarding answer book sheets which we get at exams and other things at JNTUK. I have joined by management seat so I got no reimbursement or scholarships. Well I managed to bag few placements in MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Mindtree and a training company called Talentio.

Campus Life

4.5

We have a biannual national level Fest which is held at our campus, which includes a two day Fest first day being mostly technical and involving technical events such as project expo, debates, JAMS, paper and poster presentations etc this is open to all and the other day is cultural Fest which strictly is only for women. Majorly they are held anywhere after Mid February or in the month of March. We also have annual day every year similar set of events happen but only in the college. And excellence awards are given to students who perform well either academically or holistically. Library is big and academic texts are flooded very few general journals are there and few magazines such as India today, daily newspapers are provided. Annual sports meet is awesomely conducted. I took my team for all four years to win at throwball. The meet has sprint, relay running, kabaddi, shortput, Kho Kho, Tennicoit and throwball. We have NSS team, dancers club and coding societies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
