Remarks

Good college atmosphere was quite good and interesting bad college was expensive not worth spending.

Entrance Preview

I took MAT followed by GD and then PI. Results were announced after a week of the process. Loan letter was provided by the college and subsequent application was made in various banks. Faculty was nice and curriculum was of Pune University.

Course Curriculum Overview

Excellent entire HR,IR,Personnel management subjects were taought alongwith practicals,viva,internship visits etc. Faculty was very helpful in the way they carried the curricculum.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience was good. There was no stipend as such but other facilities was given. PPO was also offered. Practical knowledge earned through the process.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities were limited due to recession in 9-11 we havent had many companies visiting us but we approached different companies for off campus placements.

College Events

Annual day,Fashions how,insignia,HR Meet,Presentation competition cricket tournament,visulas competition,job fair,industry meet,sports event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very expensive for outside maharashtra students for local students fee is half. Even the university fee is less for them. You may have to take a loan if you are from outside.

No i have not availed any scholarship no option was given of this kind i even asked dean about the same but to no avail.

Campus Life

Campus life was quite good quite hectic though but we enjoyed a lot. We had lot of people from different parts of the country had a nice gender equaliity.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was ok but quite expensive food is ok type facilities in hostel is quite good 50000 a year is too expensive.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Good alumni netwok was there we could connect to lot of our seniors. The info shared by them was quite useful we enjoyed cettain meets with them Atmoshphere was quite good.

Exam Structure

Sessional exams,tutorial exams,class exams exams,half yearly exams,semester exams,University exams.

Faculty

Excellent at par 2 Ph.D's,assistant professors,professors,dean,cordinators were good. Well industry expereienced faculty was there to give practical perspective about the course.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
