Remarks

I would say go to this college only for Pune university course if you are out of options and have limited funds. There is definitely no professional training that will be provided by college so you will have to get a lot of that on your own. There are limited efforts done by college for personal development so you will only have to work on improving this on your own. Also dont expect any campus placements as this is negligible.

Entrance Preview

MAH CET and scored 75% in this exarm. I had limited options available in Pune. This college was A grade college and had affordable fee structure. Also I had to opt for operations ie production and materials management and this college had given the option for this course, so I had opted for this college. I had attended a seminar arranged by the college and thought this to be a professional college from this seminar. Also I did not get selected to other options that I had entered before this college so I had to opt for this college, thinking it to be a professional college.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The college followed the curriculum of Pune university so the subjects offered were good. The first year was a common year where we had subjects from marketing, finance and operations. But we had to select specialization in the second year. I had opted for Operations ie Production and Materials management. The subjects in the first year in the Marketing gave us good overview of marketing as a field and the subjects gave us visibility on various marketing strategies.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide any assistance for internship nor does it motivate internship. You will have to find the intership on your own.For final year project, the college only provides a letter stating you are a student of this college and you are required to do a Project, but it does not provide active assistance or industry contacts for getting internship or project.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college does not provide good placement opportunities. College does offered Production and Materials management course but did not invite any company for recruitment. The job opportunities provided were more or less common placements where almost all colleges of Pune were invited, but no good company came for inhouse placements. Number of placements were very low, most of which were placed in IBMR in their management students recruitment drive.

College Events

1.5

The college did celebrate good events. There was a professional event Mindscape where college invited industry experts to compete in a case study competition. This was arranged by help of students and is a really nice event. The students could get good company feel from this event. Other event was annual gathering which was sort of social & cultural event. Other than this we also had Freshers and Farewell parties.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, college did not offer any loan to my knowledge, however the scholarships offered were only those which were offered by the University of Pune.

Campus Life

1.5

Gender Ratio was farely balanced. Not many hostel parties or workshops or competitions were arranged by the college. There was no politics in the college as management controlled everything. There was not bias observed with regards too gender, ethnicity, race or religion.

Alumni/Alumna

We god really good seniors in the college, but there is no active alumini network in the college. College does not arrange active alumni meets and parties, which limits the alumni interaction to minimum or negligible.

Exam Structure

The internal exams were chilled out. Frequent inhouse exams were not conducted seriously, and some times the papers were not even checked. However the University exams and projects were conducted very seriously and strictly.

Faculty

2

Overall average faculty, where few teachers were really good but most were average. The college very few external faculties, but some of the external faculties were really good. The External faculty for finance in year 1 was really good. This was a very experience and had very good teaching skills. He made it understanding the financial concepts to students without financial background. The faculty for marketing was also good who used to share few real life examples.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
