Amity University is a very good choice for students aspiring to pursue their masters( specifically). They provide practical experiences and opportunities to study abroad for a semester or more even during the tenure of your present course. The admission process is a step-by-step process that gives you a taste of how a professional organization functions.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty Members are highly aware of the present scenario and they impart knowledge using case studies and current market-based examples to enable the students to use their theoretical knowledge in a practical manner. They guide the students every step of the way. A student must have the zeal to use the teachers' knowledge and guidance to excel and learn more.

Course Fees: INR 114000 per year

Placement Experience

From the second last semester, the students having CGPA above 6 are eligible to sit for the placements. Companies like getting a set to resume, federal bank, Jaro education, EY, Genpact, etc. came with the job offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends upon the course the student is opting for their professional career. The fee is quite high in comparison to the government universities but they are competitive in comparison to other semi-private or private universities.

Campus Life

Amazing campus. It gives life to the dream we all must have seen while watching movies based on colleges. The name of the annual fest is AYF(Amity Youth Fest). Not only for the fest season but also during the year celebrities choose Amity for their movie promotions, concert performance, etc. The infrastructure of the library is heaven for a nerd or a bibliophile. Honestly, I have spent so many hours of the week there just reading some books or preparing notes. The library has all the required books related to the courses and also many classic novels. Every block of the campus has many clubs like a dance club, finance club, music club, etc.

Interview Experience

The first round is of a written test consisting of basic knowledge related to the course and English communication. The second round is of Personal Interview where the interviewer asks questions related to the course the student has opted for the education.

I choose this course because I had a Commerce background ,I Pursued BCom Honours from Sri Guru Nanak Girls Degree College only and this college provided the best facilities in those 3 years so ,I opted for my post graduation as well. There are internals in the middle of every semester and for external exams we get at least a gap of 6 month.

Basically I have decided to persue m. Com and trying to choose best university for it. I chooses this university because it was in top 5 rank of NIRF. To be honest some professors really work hard to train us to deal with real world but some also do their duty just because they have to draw salary. There should be a regular class otherwise they should inform before. The exam get conducted once is December or january and second is conducted in may.

Placement Experience:

Only Final years students are eligible for the campus placement, I have heard many times about it but it were always for girls. I guess I had miss chances of placements where boys are eligible but the placement of the college is not a big deal. Don't expect much from this college about placement

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course was the different subject provided to choose from as per my interest. Regular assignment, presentation, in class training helps us for real world application As per my preference there is no such requirement of changes. I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
