Remarks
The college is located at Bantakal near to my hometown. The college provides bus facilities too. And from the past two years, the college has recorded 100% placement in my branch. Also, the cafeteria serves tasty and healthy vegetarian food. All the staff are very friendly and it feels like a home away from home. The admission process was very well organised too. The college values inputs from both parents and the students. I could proudly say that I've made the right decision after getting into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I obviously chose CSE as my branch for the reason that they have got 100% placements from the past few years. The faculty to student ratio is perfect and the teachers are really well qualified and are friendly too. What I liked the most is that the teachers are ever ready to help the students out, no matter what the situation. The college is filled with positivity were the faculty, students and the management collaborate to yield the best and bring name and fame to the college. Examinations are conducted time to time and the faculty help us in correcting our mistakes made in the exam. That makes us easy to pass the exams along with getting the right direction when it comes to studying.
Internships Opportunities
The college encourages every student to apply for internships from various platforms and also sends messages through WhatsApp every day related to various internships available to be applied for, through which there's a good opportunity to earn pocket money even while studying.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. A lot of reputed companies visit the college including Infosys, Robosoft, Mind tree, Ethnus, Amazon and many more. 100% placement has been recorded from the past 2 years. I am planning either to get a job or do higher studies after the degree. The training & placement cell is highly active & helps the students to get trained, get internships and also get placed. The cell organises a lot of programs to help the students ace the interviews and discover various career opportunities after the degree and all these programs can be attended right from the first year. Almost 4-5 workshops were organised in my first semester, which is a great opportunity to utilise. There would also be talks by various professionals including ISRO too.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees depend on how you get admitted to college. If you join through SNQ it's barely a few thousand rupees. I got the admission through KCET & my fees were 1 lakh (65k - KEA fee & 35k - college fee). And some additional expenses of buying the uniform and the college bus fee (depends on your pickup point & it's approximately equal to the annual amount that you'd have to pay if you opt for a local bus). So that's not a big deal. And yes, there are scholarship facilities, almost 85% of the students studying have got different scholarships. The college helps you right from applying to the scholarship till doing every other formality. There are a lot of scholarships awarded depending on your financial status, merit, etc. E-pass, Sardar Patel scholarship to name a few. The training & placement cell is highly active & has helped me get internships through various platforms, with a stipend (you can apply for internships right from the first year. Faculties & seniors help a lot throughout.
Campus Life
Varnotsava (annual fest) is conducted every year in the month of March. Also, various technical fests are organised for both high school & PU students. You can enjoy a lot in the campus (cuz it's student-friendly 100%). The library has a lot of books related to the course always available which could be used. There are separate group study rooms (where phones & laptops are allowed) & also study room where you can study on your own. There's also a facility to access online journals & digital libraries. The classrooms are well maintained with all the required amenities. Sports & extracurricular activities are also supported absolutely, they'd be conducted throughout the year & students are encouraged to participate in many competitions. The college has NSS, NCC, YRC, Rotaract Club, WEC including technical groups for all the 4 branches in the college in addition to 2 other teams namely X to Infinity & SAE.
