Remarks
To begin with, I had heard about the college from my friends as they were already studying there. They used to say only good things about the college. The campus is a bit small and you can’t really do anything else apart from studying there, but I had made many good memories on this campus. It does have a very good library if you are from a literature background. The most amazing part about the college is that the faculty is the best to approach. All the professors are so talented and they teach really well. They are not only professionals but they also try to reach out to you personally. The admission process is quite simple, it is either online or offline. I had gone for the offline one. Soon they have the admission day, where you go and they will call you one by one for noting down your preference of course, and also the fee structure. The admission is mainly on the basis of merit. I chose this college over others because of the fee structure which is practically nothing comparatively
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose English Majors because I was always good in literature and books. I love reading. And I wanted to persue a career in the same. For me, the learning experience mattered and not some big-name college from Delhi University. So I chose this humble one. However, I was amazed by their teaching skills and others. The professors are the best. There were around 60 students per class. Only one section in the first semester and later it got increased. Exams were moderately tough and you could pass them but only if you studied. And you had to study believe me. The teaching method used by the professors was simple. Teaching from the books. Overall a very good faculty.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study for the whole three years would be somewhere around 30k. Yes! For all three years. And also there is a scholarship provided if you apply for it, it does have some eligibility criteria so check before applying. The college has only got a bachelor’s program so people don't apply for jobs mostly after studying. But they do have a placement cell.
Campus Life
There is a college fest every year you can participate in. The books are enough and available for all the courses and especially I can say that because I was an English Major. There are ample amount of books to study from in the library. The classroom has a projector and smartboard. It also has bookshelves with books. There is a sports week as well for the girls who are interested in sports.
Other Applied Colleges
Cotton College | English Hons BA
the college teachers were not as friendly as the only that I opted for.
