The management is good but very strict. The quality of education is good and it is a good learning experience.
Entrance Preview
MMS and college has it's own selection process and entrance exam. I scored a total of 87 % in the entrance exam and got through after the industry teams PI and GD rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was advanced and had detailed information about each area of the subjects which were to be learnt. There were weekend in the job trainings too.
Internships Opportunities
Internships were not greatly paid and nor were the campus placements. However experience wise they were very enriching. Summer Internship - Rs.5000 per month stipend with Pantaloons
Placement Experience
Both the placement and job opportunities were enough to start a career. However, companies do not start above 2.75 to 3.5 lakh p.a.Future Group companies recruit most of the students. About 90% get placed.
College Events
Not too many Management events. Just one in a year with mixed activities and participation from other management colleges. Like most other Management colleges there are frequent guest lectures from industry experts which is the best part of this institute.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are expensive. For each year it is about 1.5 lakh. There are 2 years in total. So you spend 3 lakhs on the fee. This is irrespective of the charges for the books and laptop.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students loan is available from various banks. Had not heard of any scholarships though. So cannot comment on that part.
Campus Life
It's a very happening place with respect to study and activities. There are lot of courses available in the campus other than the one mentioned. College day's are very happening and there are good sports activities too. The fresher's parties and farewell parties are extremely popular and enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities
I was a resident in the same city and therefore never had a chance to review this facility. However, there was limited facility for hostel rooms. Mess food was gullible and low cost.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini are well placed and at good positions in the industry. They do visit for annual functions and guest lectures on the industry. Each student is contacted at least once a year for an update.
Exam Structure
1.5 hour lectures and some lab sessions too. On the Job training on weekends at retail stores. Presentations and project submissions are frequent. Trimester pattern of exams makes it a bit hectic.
Faculty
Each Faculty Member of the institute is knowledgeable and have a keen interest in each students learning about the subject. Excellent guidance and interactive study methods.
