BCom has negligible placement

First of all it ranks as the 4th best University in India. The alumni of this university are doing jobs worldwide with better scope with a huge grade pay! One thing is that the classes of boys and girls are held separately in all the bachelor couses! For some people it may be good but ae for me no females in the class means that it is always missing something! Behind as the name suggests yes it is a minority University with a maximum student population of muslims but as for now I haven't seen any religious fight between two people belonging to different religions, There are several rules that here they call TRADITIONS! Like u can't wear shorts anywhere. You have to always wear any long pant/Jeans as fir to obey the tradition whether you are inside the University or at the restaurants! The teachers are highly professional! For admission there is an online entrance test that you have to appear! I choose this university after looking at every details on Collegeduniya, last year!

I choose this course because I belong to commerce background and BCom is the most appreciated course after 12th in commerce! Each batch has a total of 200 students in BCom, with two different sections 100 in each! All are Males! Females have their separate college under the same University! I hate this gender differentiation,The teaching staff is highly qualified! But when it comes to actual teaching they sometimes leg behind as what BCom in AMU focuses is completely theoretical! But there are some professors such as Dr. Firdaus mam who always tries to relate our books with the outside business world.The semester exam takes place in December and May with assignments and all stuff! It is not that easy but if you attend the classes properly then one can easily pass the exams!

Wipro, Reliance, Infosys visits more often and offer internships to students while it is quite not applicable for BCom students!

5/6th semester students become eligible for campus placement! Although BCom doesn't have taht far scope of placements! But if you persuade MCom then the average packages are 12-18 lakhs pa(MCom) while honestly BCom don't get placement except very rare cases! Only if one is way too lucky.

The fees is quite affordable! It is nearly 30,000 in total of three years apart from dinner fees, The dining fees ate also affordable for hostelers with 1400 approx for 30 days(varies from hostel to hostel). Several scholarships are available if one can avail them they they don't even need pocket money from home to study at Aligarh, although the maximum scholarships are available for only Minorities (Except Hindu students) but there are National scholarship open for all! Job in the campus aren't available for BCom students!

There are various fests that are for BCom final year or MCom students! Panels from Reliance, Wipro, Infosys visits the faculty for providing jobs, AMU has Asia's largest Library i.e. Maulana Azad Library so there qre more than enough of books and journals available! The classrooms are well enough fitted with projectors to comprehend teaching, Also the faculty has smart classroom anyway! There are always every sports and extra curricular activities! Horse riding, hockey, cricket, billards, tennis, badminton, football, Swimming pool, Gym, everything, Clubs such as debate club, Eco club, quiz, drama, everything is entertained here for students and run by students itself

The hostel room has separate almirah with 3-4 beds and a study table for each students, The meals provided are quite affordable and safe! The kitchen is neat and clean and the mess too! The dishes are regularly cleaned by the staffs, Registration process is just easy for hostel but the accomodation may take upto 1 year to get! I had to wait 1 year to get accommodation.
