Entrance Preview
I took the CET examination and scored 80/100 to get into the college. Although anyone above 70 could easily get in. Interview is just for 5-10 mins wherein you're given a situation and you're smartness is tested.
Internships Opportunities
There was no compulsion in undertaking an internship during a graduate course so there were no companies coming to college. Although students who voluntarily opted for companies outside to upgrade themselves were getting around 5-7.5 thousand per month as stipend.
Placement Experience
Since majority of the people were having plans of future studies, no placement was provided by college. Although students who passed out with above average scores were surprisingly given good jobs when applied from outside campus and received packages of 15-20 thousand per month which is pretty good for a graduate's first salary. I had friends placed in Tommy Hilfiger - 22000 per month, Phoenix advertising- 18000 per month and Zara retail- 21000 per month.
Exam Structure
Exams weren't hectic. So we had 1 internals exam of 40 marks which was converted into 10 marks, 10 marks for class performance and attendance and project work, and the final exam of the remaining 80 marks. So exams were not that frequent although not too scattered too in order to ensure students don't forget the course curriculum or take it for granted.
Faculty
Faculty was great. The profs had the subject knowledge and were willing to teach and showed interest in clearing the doubts of the students. Also, discipline was a major necessity in the college and they even ensured that apart from all the fun and games the discipline is not being neglected.
