As the university is approved by UGC. It has the same syllabus as any other university. The syllabus is vast and easily understandable. The university always updates its course with the ongoing syllabus.

Placement Experience

My college has a training cell which solves all the placement related queries and also brings companies to the college. It also gives training to the student so, that they grab the best job offer. The placement cell work with the student to get the best from them.

College Events

Every year an annual cultural feat is organised by the college in which student also make their contribution. Students showcase their talent here and meet other students from the same field. Many tech fests are also organized by University which is basically for the overall development of the student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees at my university are low. I am paying Rs. 51,820 per year for my course that is MBA.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the college which organise a workshop on different topics. The student participates in these workshops to get to know about other things which are not related to academics. Every month a new workshop is organized by the clubs.

Admission

I got admission in this college on the basis of the merit list after I gave an entrance exam.Some of the courses need a Bachelor's degree with aggregate marks in each subject of 45-40%. All the students have to fulfil this criterion.

Faculty

The faculty in my college is very knowledgeable and qualified. They tend to help students and not only teach them but also train them for opportunities in the future. The time I was joining the college, thing which was revolving in my mind is how will be the faculty. But the faculty here is very helpful.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

1.I did applied to mysore and kuvempu university shivamoga but unfortunetly i didnt went for councelling because am from davangere my father didnt allowd me i choose these campus because its present in my city 2.no i only didnt went to those campus 3 . admission follow up by councelling to the applied students before that they conduct entrence exam and for to get seat the criteria they follow is theybtake 50% of your degree marks and 50% of enterence exam result based on that they will made selection list, if sc st and other lower cast get first prefrence for admission later based on parcentage 30 sats for govt merit students reamimg 50 seats for management coat govt merit seats you need to pay govt fees like within 30k per year and if you get scolorship it is also refundable but for management coat no fees got refundable ,these is how admission processs proced...Read More
