Remarks

No negatives as such, though management can be better. In terms of speeding any process. however that the common challenge with all colleges.

Entrance Preview

SNAP. Special exam only for applying to symbiosis colleges. CAT and other exam scores not counted.

Course Curriculum Overview

Specially created course focusing on IT security. Very useful and of importance in todays market. Focusing on infrastructure, SAP, security and so on. based on interest, students can opt for the courses.

Internships Opportunities

No stipends given but very useful in terms of learning.. 3 months.In a forensics company for investigation projects and related assignments. Got deep insights from internship experience and specially the mentor over there.

Placement Experience

Very fruitful. Depending on the work experience and current CGPA. Offers between 7-12L CTC per annum. Many opportunities available.

College Events

Samaarambh, New hires. Apart from that cultural and technical events both once a year. Neev is the biggest event there conducted in start of year. High scale event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

4 installments. Around 10L as far I remember to be given in 4 installments equally. Including 10K security deposit.stay and food as well plus basic amenities also gym.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only topper of SNAP exam receives full scholarship.however, the topper needs to maintain 3.0/4.0 CGPA throughout.

Campus Life

Excellent. College promotes involvement in curricular activities as well apart from studies. Helpful for career development.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food was pretty average, Not great, Hotel rooms good, warden assigned to each hostel to monitor behavior of students.

Alumni/Alumna

College has a vast alumni network which it uses very smartly for getting placements from various companies. As the name also suggests symbiosis. Alumni come every year for recruitment as well.

Exam Structure

Not really. Very thoughtfully created curriculum. Though presentation and assignments were part of daily routine then.

Faculty

Helpful and knowledgeable. Got to learn a lot from their teaching and experience..were also available extra time. Off working hours for help. Extra assignments and work did help in many aspects.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. To take this exam, you must have graduated from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for the final year can also apply. You can find the application form, fees, and dates on SIBM Pune's website. Reservation of 15% for SCs, 7.5% for STs, 15% above intake for international students and 3% for differently abled. The admission process starts starts with an exam SNAP. it's safer to score 98.5+ percentile to get a call from SIBM Pune. SIBM is one the best business schools in the country. It has amazing placement options from more than a hundred companies that visit our college every year.
