Entrance Preview
The college considers CAT,XAT, CMAT, MAT scores for admission in Minimum criteria for amission in 60+ percentile in CAT, XAT and 70-75+ percentile in CMAT and MAT. However, the selection in based on equal wieghtage to 10th,12th and Graduation marks along with GD, PI and WAT. So, even though a student gets below the stated percentile but has perform ed well in academics and admission process, He will be short listed for the selection list in PGDM and MBA programme. I scored 76 percentile in CMAT.
Internships Opportunities
Being a first year student i haven't went through an experience of Internship yet .But,Internship is compulsory for both PGDM and MBA for 3 and 2 months respectively. Companies with both stipend and non stipend criteria visit.What is important is projects you get and also exposure.
Placement Experience
The college has 100% placement.Being centrally located between Chennai and Bangalore which are both major industrial hubs, it has various companies coming for placement for various roles spread over all the specialization. Being a 62 year old institution, it has wide networks and alumni relations that helps in the placement and internship procedure.Presently,106 out of 186 students are placed from both MBA and PGDM with a highest package of 8.04 lakhs p.a and an average of 5.2 lakhs p.a
College Events
The college is driven by various student clubs like Finance,HR,Marketing and Operations, Movie, Language and many more which helps in enhancing extracurricular activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college has a reasonable and a very feasible fee structure. Fee for PGDM and MBA is 625000 and 585000 respectively which includes tuition, study materials,library charges, computer lab fees and accommodation charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided for students who have performed outstandingly in the respective management entrance exams such as MAT,CAT , CMAT, XAT AND TANCET. The scholarship amount ranges from 50000 to 90000 depending upon the merit performance of the candidates.Finance services are also provided by the college because of the tie ups with banks.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite enhanced and blissful.Its a 40 acres of lush green campus.Their are committees made in case of any problem faced by students, they can directly report to them in case of any grievances and complaints. Ragging is completely banned over here, any students involving in such shall be subjected to stringent action by the disciplinary committee.
Alumni/Alumna
Being a 62 year old Institution it has got a very good alumni network who visit campus frequently during college fest and various events. The senior students are very much knowledgeable as well as helpful. They conduct session regarding how to crack interviews, perform in GD's, panel discussions and aptitude tests. They also conduct different events in various clubs and guides and molds us to be more productive and efficient.
Faculty
The faculty here possess a Doctorate degree is their respective field of specialization.Even the college has a tie up with IIM which assist faculty to pursue Doctorate degree if the haven't done.
