Fantastic college for Agricultural Studies

College management was good. Teachers, Staff all were very co- operative.

AAIDU entrance exam, I chose food technology because I was interested in it. As i was biology background many were running behing biotechnology but at that time it was not so developed field in India.

First two years of basic engineering with food science related subject. Next two years of total food technology and science including 120 days of inductrial training and last semester includes project work.

In engineeeing basically there was no stipend during industrail training.But companies like Bikano, ITC, M&M, INFOSYS, TCS and many more companies came for placement at that time. And now a days more companies coming for the placement.

Placement is not so good for food technology as it is emerging branch but for other agricultural courses it is veey good at that time in year 2010 minimum package was 3.8 lacs/ annum.

Many cultural as well as sports events were celebrated throughout my curricullum. Team went participate in inter universities programs. Teams use to go IIT KANPUR FOR ANATRAGINI, IIT DELHI, MUMBAI. Cricket teams went to participate in inter university league. And many more sports.

At that time it was very feasible. But seeing the fees today it is getting expensive and expensive. Comparing to othwr institution ot is still feasible but much higher than government institutions.

Scholarships were offered by the college on the basis of grades as well as financial background.There is Student welfare department who looks after these activities.

Hostels were good. As it is deemed to be university polotics was not there. There is approx 50-50 gender ratio, Fresher parties, farewell parties, College cultural fest. Students from different countries come for studies under government exxhange program.

Hostel facilities were good. There are different hostels according to the expenditure and also on the seniority basis.

There are different groups of alumni of colleges on social networking. Alumni meet also takes place. There is also alumni group in college if u get registered then u will get updates on the college and various activities.

Exam structure was very competitive. There was semeater trend. Each semester of six months.Marking was done on grade points scale.And in the 8 semester CGPA was formed on the basis of previous semesters.

Faculty was highly educated including doctorates from various highly reputed colleges in India and Abroad. External faculties also take lecture in the college. Teachers were from colleges like CFTRI, GBPTU, HBTI, DENMARK, BANGKOK.
