The best college

The courses here quite hectic. You will be left busy through out the day attending classes and labs. Every student has to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance. Students have to face penalty if they fail to do so. But all the topics are well taught.

As it is known, doing just an MBBS cannot help you get placed with a good pay. A PG or any higher degree is required. You can get small scale opportunities but with a lower pay. You have great opportunities for internships after MBBS though.

There are annual day events celebrated in our college where everybody can participate. Our college holds an event by the name PLEXUS where all the near by colleges participate. Organising these events are mostly done by the students themselves.

The fee is feasible. It is around 40k per semester as regular student. But if you are an SC/ST student, then you just need to pay half of the fee. An extra examination fee has to be paid and it doesn't include in your tuition fee.

There are no scholarships from the college side. But there are scholarship options given by the Goa University and Directorate of Education of Goa but just to merit students. Other students mostly don't have the option.

There are several sports events conducted. There is also an inter-college meet organised called PLEXUS. There are a lot of activities that students can participate. All the sports equipment are well maintained. There is also a separate department for sports.

The hostel conditions need an improvement. The food is not so good. It could have been better. The hostel is quite small and the rooms are not sufficient. It gets hard to find a room for yourself. The infrastructure also needs an improvement.

I qualified NEET with a good score. My board examination scores were also great. That's it and after a few days i came to know that I got shortlisted for this college. I heard a lot of positive reviews about this college and hence i opted to go for it. The admission process was very easy and simply based on merit.

The faculty here is quite strict. We need to attend classes without fail daily. The faculty here are all well experienced. Some of them maintain a very close relationship with students always wishing for their best. They are always available any time of the day to help us.
