Entrance Preview

I have taken admission from college test, I have scored 1st division. I t provides good options. Therefore i have selected PGDM in operations fro Wellingkar institute of management.

Course Curriculum Overview

PGDM in Operations. Successfully completed in 2015. I have also got opportunity to prepare project for six sigma.Wellingkar course carriculum is awesome.I am waiting for opportunity now.

College Events

College last event i did remembered where we do get the chance and to meet with different scholers. Event was well managed with food and some music.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there was education loan available. But i would say there installment option was uperb . Therefore many of them have not taken loan aa i have discussed with many of my friends.

Campus Life

Campus life was awesum. The best i would say even during practical exams we were well managed by them as campus was large therefore it was gud experience for us.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network seems ok. I have never got a chance to have a face to facw conversation with any of them .However we do had conversation on online forum to discuss any thing major important.

Exam Structure

It was every three month.First there was open book test in that question will be asked from anywhere but that was quite tricky.Second was centre based where no booka and materials allowed. Overall it was good experience with exams.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
