Entrance Preview

Opted for an CAT exam to see full time MBA program but got a chance to work with an MNC hence dropped my decision for full time program. Searched through many colleges within mumbai for a part time program & got excellent feedback fro welingkars from allumini students also went through the faculty list for the program it had excellent group of professors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The experience at welingkars was excellent as expected, the course curriculam was well aligned with mumbai university rules. The faculty was very experience & shared very good practical experiences during classroom sessions.

Internships Opportunities

College intership experience was good & provided lots of off campus opportunities. Co-ordinators were very co-operative & shared regular updates for intership opportunities .

Placement Experience

Placement cell was excellent & they updated me on regular basis for new job opportunities . the pay packages were just right as per market standard.

College Events

Annual alumini event was conducted within college premises to bring together alumini students with new students , this helped to build a good rapo with the alumini group.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible & good to afford. The institute also had flexible payment structure to allow students pay in parts. There was no penalty fees for late payments upto 1 week .

Fees and Financial Aid

Institute provides good loan assistance facility also scholarships can also be seeked for lower income group students. There are various banks which provides educational loans with minimal documentations.

Hostel Facilities

Campus provides good hostel facility with a monthly rental upto 6000 & food quality provided in the hostel was excellent , Cleanliness was well maintained within the hostel premises.

Alumini students were very helpful & helped juniors whenever required. The alumini event helped us to connect with senior folks & increase our network to seek good job prospectus.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
