Course Curriculum Overview
This was mixed of theory , and industrial experiences together , This college is also involve in some social activity and students are part of the same. It was 2 year course and we have to clear semester every 6 months .
Internships Opportunities
College had organised some reaaly sound Industrial training in companies like Usha Martine , Hindalco etc , however we did summer project in coca cola also did internship with HDFC currently I am employed with.
Placement Experience
Xiss is well know for its campusing and its HR and Rural management is one of the best in the country , most of the big company visit XISS every year and most of us are placed during that time
College Events
We celebrate Fresher and our Farewell party , other than that we also had a event called alumna connect which is really a good exposed to the current students .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compare to the other colleges its really in budget , in 2007 it 1,20,000 only where the average cost for a MBA collage was 3lac to 3.5 lac that time .Though it have limited hostel facility or student have to stay in a PG.
Campus Life
Gender ration in marketing may b 7:3 , 7 males but in RM and RD dept is almost equal .Campus environment was really good , we never find any problem regarding gender issue or religious views etc .
Hostel Facilities
Food quality in collage pantry was average with average variety , I was in PG in 2007 and total staying cost was 7000-8000.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is really good , we still in touch with our senior too , XISS also organize alumni meet city wise like Delhi, Kolkata etc so we are very much in touch with students and Faculty to.
Exam Structure
Main exam is held in every 6 months call semester exam , other than that we had class exam every months with case study on current topic .
Faculty
Faculty were really good and most of them are widely carrying industrial experiences , they are more into given people practical training. We had specialized faculty for all the subject also we get knowledge fro specialist visiting faculties.
