My College days

My overall remarks about this college is good. however I just want to give one suggestion that it should grow its infrastructure as space available is not much. for example play ground is there but very small and library is attached with computer lab.

XAT 30 percentile. that was my score i got call from many colleges. But i preferred XISS because it is very near to my home town and one of the renowned colleges in India.

The full name of the course was Post graduate program in management and insurance. It consist of all major financial subjects including finance, accounting, marketing etc. but the main focus was for insurance industry

I was selected by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance company limited for my internship. The total duration of internship was for six months and stipend was INR 10000.00

After Internship period was over i was been offered for job by ICICI prudential itself. We were total 10 people selected in icici prudential for 3.25 lac per annum.

Every year college used to celebrate the cultural program with the different theme names each year. The reward and recognition program also used to be happen along with cultural functions. we used to enjoy a lot. I have also participated in all functions, basically for singing

Yes. Fees was higher for the below middle class family member person like me. however my family managed to pay without taking any kind of loan from any organisations. it included course fee, hostel charges, library charges, cultural program charges etc.

No, I have not taken any kind of loan or scholarship. However college has a tie up with many private and public banks for the loan facilities for the students who wants to apply.

It was very good environment in campus. Fortunately my classmates were very hardworking and cooperative and co-incidental my few room-partners were artists like me. I like singing and some of my partners used to play guitar and used to write lyrics. So we together enjoyed a lot these extra curricular activities. There were no gender or religious issues. We all used to live together and enjoyed together with lots of fun

I was in college hostel for few days only as i found it more expensive than the private room. However hostel facilities were very nice. it was very comfortable to stay there and good environment for study as well. The mess was having enough space for all students. the food quality was good but not as per home made foods.

Our Seniors and alumni were very helpful in every aspect. Whenever there used to be any doubt they used to solve it. Even sometime they used to ask first if we have any kind of confusion or doubts

Exam structure was very well organised. including both online and offline. the most of the objective papers used to be done online basis and descriptive papers used to be held on offline mode. Before examination we used to went through many practice tests which were very helpful for examinations.

The faculties were very helpful and cooperative. They used to clear most of the doubts inside classroom as well as outside class. The way of teaching was very nice and standard was very high
