The campus component is one of the most important components of this course and i believe it should be more than a week to give more time for students to interact with each other and take away the college life.
Entrance Preview
An executive MBA from XLRI jamshedpur requires an SOP, resume and an interview. i was always looking for an executive MBA as i did not want to take a break from my work. and XLRI is the best in the country when it comes to executive education in business management.
Internships Opportunities
There was no stipend or internship offered for this course as this is an executive course and a virtual program overall. So i cant comment for this section.
Placement Experience
The placement for this program was unavailable at the time i passed out. It is difficult for a program like this to have placements as a lot of students are sponsored by their organizations and it is difficult if the same students opt for placements and move to other organizations.
Campus Life
The campus is life is fun. Students have the option to play their favorite sports in the campus, there is a huge park outside the hostel for a walk or a run. There is a gym as well in the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of XLRI is the best connected network. A lot of students are in touch with alumni meets in different cities of the country once or twice a year.
Exam Structure
There are weekly tests, sometimes surprise quiz during the course of this one year program. and there are final exams after each elective is completed and sometimes there are 2 exams in a single day so the whole year, the student is busy with assignments, studying along with his/her own work.
Faculty
Faculty is one of the best in the country. No doubts about that. The campus visit for a week is one of the best experiences for a student of this program. The faculty is one of the most experienced and well learned people i have interacted with and just listening to them is very educational.
