An overview of B.Tech Course from Amity University Online

The course curriculum for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is very diverse and a lot of care has been taken into developing a proper curriculum for the students which is understandable by them. The duration of the course is 4 years and each year is divided into 2 semesters each in which you have to take exams along with practical. The exam period is very hectic for the students because of the extensive course.

The fee structure for almost all the courses in Amity University is a bit on the higher side. We are charged Rs. 2.66 lakhs every year making a sum total of Rs. Rs. 10.64 lakhs which might be a bit too much for the students who do not want to spend extravagantly on their under-grad. For this, the college provides partial or full scholarships to students based on their score cards and provides various other relaxations.

All the students of Amity University are involved in some or the other extra-curricular activities be it sports, singing, dancing, debating, etc. We have a number of societies catering to such activities which organizes a number of events throughout the year where students from different colleges apply. Our college also organizes an annual fest which is very famous across the college circuit. Thus, living in Amity University is like a dream come true.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Amity University, Noida online. It requires a lot of efforts to get in but it is worth it. Candidates seeking admission in this course need to have at least 60% marks in class 10th and 12th and need to have more than 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Along with this the college conducts AMITY JEE for the students who wish to pursue B.Tech and you will be able to get in only if you have a valid JEE score. Thus, the process might seem difficult but it is easy once you set your aim to get in this college.

The faculty of this college is one of the best and teachers are very regular with the online classes. All the students are expected to maintain 75% attendance even if the classes are being conducted online. The college authorities might create some difficulty in the issuance of admit card for exams in case of low attendance. Thus, the faculty is very disciplined which helps in keeping the students attentive and hard working.
