Entrance Preview
TamilNadu Board. There was no entrance exam in 1987. Only Interview existed. The Interview and admission process was good and exhaustive.
Internships Opportunities
Clear internship programs offered by the college was not there. Individuals had to undertake the internship programs by themselves only. The stipend amount varied on a case to case basis.
Placement Experience
The placements also were no that exhaustive as it is today .There were few companies that came but as on date an told that the situation has improved drastically.
College Events
There were Different Association programs / College Day function/ Big Cultural event named Confluence was held when we were final year students. This gave us an opportunity to develop our organisational skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees were low since the college was a Government College. Also we could afford the fees. No special fees too. Also since was a govet College, there were a lot of students who were funding through scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, Educational loans from banks was availed by quite a few students. There was also facility available for those students who were economically backward to avail of these loans.
Exam Structure
The exams were quite spread out. Not very hectic. Enough time beforehand and was smooth.Also the practical labs were quite good and hence we could easily understand the various topics clearly too.
Faculty
Was quite knowledgeable and helped to grab the minute aspects of engineering which ahs helped me to develop what I am today.There were young faculty members with whom I could easily relate and also some were there who were quite elderly to.
