Bonding between seniors and juniors is one of best things in this college.one of the best management.

This was entrance test conducted by the college itself. I choose b tech(ec) over msc. for more career options and dream professional qualification.

It was three year course.admission to the course was after b sc(maths) only. Course was lengthy and hence suitable for engg. services. Constitute theory and practicals in 60:40 ratio.

For internship we have options to choose from any government or public sector organisation like - indian railways, itiat some places student has to pay for internship but it was free in railways.

Major companies visiting our institute are drdo, bel, wipro, tcs, cannon, nokia siemens, reliance comm.package at that time in 2007-08:7.5 lack to 2.8.

Freshers party and welfare party for newly joined batch and final year students leaving the university in that year. Also alumni meet(all the alumni from different places come together for 6-13).

Fee structure is best as i can say.it cost only 12000 a year means for two semesters. Thus paying total 36000 for the course. It was 8000 tuition fee and other fee constitute for 4000.

For the expenses i did'nt need any loan.however scholarship is available as per government rules for sc/st and for economically weak students.

Campus life started from sharp 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Very poor gender ratio 80:20 ratio.the best thing was sitting on the steps to the institute. It is central university hence no need to say anything about economic status. Very less politics or no politics in the institute.

There was separate hostel for engineering and msc(it) students. I was staying in a rented room. i was to pay 800 per month as rental. For tiffin facility you have to pay around 600-1200 per month.

Seniors were very helping and friendly nature. all the notes are available from the seniors. JK institute has very strong network of alumni from all over the fields and so many nri.ex- engg services officers, irs,its,professors in delhi university.

3 year course can be divided in 6 semesters.exam constitutes of semester and mid semester exams.30 : 70 for mid sem and sem exam weight-age was there and you need to score 50%(theory and practicals individually) to pass a semester.

I appreciate such a knowledgeable and dedicated faculty. Theory level faculty is one of the best in allahabad and may say up. Practical facility was not as much modern and new instruments were not available.
