Course Curriculum Overview
IDOL is affiliated to the Mumbai University, which is one of the most esteemed and historic university of the country. The course curriculum is a light-weighted one as for the distance courses. It is a perfect college for the ones who want to opt for distance classes.
Placement Experience
No. Just like the other colleges offering distance course even in this college there is no on-campus recruitment of students. The same applies for the internship facilities as well. We need to get one through our connections and hard work.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees charged by the college for the three year B.Com course is Rs. 10,835/- only. It is very less and feasible as compared to the other universities who offer distance courses. In comparison to the facilities and the quality of education, it seems to be very less from my point of view.
Campus Life
As I am a distance student I have not enjoyed any of the extra-curricular facilities offered by the college. But, I have heard of the magnificent library that the college owns with a huge collection of books. I have also heard about the sports events that the college conducts every year.
Admission
The admission to the college is done on the basis of the merit list produced by the authorities. Any student having a pass marks in the 10+2 boards examination can apply for the admission. A merit list is later published on the college website based on the score and thus follows the procedure of admission. It is a very simple one.
Faculty
Being a distance student I am not well-accustomed with the prevailing faculty. But, the educational qualifications and dedication of the professors are outpouring and deserves a mention. They make us gain a lot of interest in the classes and personally I have not missed a single lecture till date.
