Remarks

I saw the placement offers there are a lot of companies visiting my college. Only one thing that I doesn't like is the administration behaviour, they don't help students in any issues. Can write the entrance exam in March and April and get scholarship based on your result. Some will get 100% scholarship too, they won't charge tuition fees and hostel fees if you will get 100% scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

Total 4 year and you have to complete 180 credit 2016-2020 batch There will be 50 students in a classroom There will be choice based credit system which will help you in taking course of your own There will be internal exams which will include 2 unit test and 2 mid test for each subject, and final semester exam will be there. And it's not hard to pass the exam, easily if anyone will study they can pass.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7 semester students get eligible for placement. There are lot of companies visited Byjus, unschool, Mahindra, jinsung, Accenture, Mindtree and other lot of companies visited last year . Byjus given 10 lakh package salary and other company provides 3to 5 lakh CTC to students. 70% of students placed last year After getting degree I will go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

For our batch 2016-2020 they are charging 150000 for tuition fees without any scholarships and you can get scholarship based on your marks. And hostel fees aslo differ for 6 in 1 room you have to pay 84000 per year and for 4 in 1 you have to pay 90000 for 1 year and for 2 in 1 you have to pay 104000 for 1 year and for single room you have to pay 150000 for ac and for non AC you have to pay 120000. Basically you will get placement and a lot of companies will visit and they will give you 3 to 5 lakh CTC. And if Byjus will come the maximum package you will get is 10lakh per annum.

Campus Life

Lavaza will be celebrated every year in the month of March in our college and different celebration will be there Just like pongal celebration and all. Music club, dance club, photography club cricket club and karate club is there in our college Basically you will get a projector and a blackboard and tables to sit in the classroom. There will be a central library in our college, for different branch library is separated according to branch and you can access books all the time.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me.
