The course is pretty well-structured. The topics are relevant and we could understand the subject matter. There weren't too many examinations, so it was not very hectic. The examinations were well-structured, and we could apply the knowledge we gained

Placement statistics are decent, but can always improve. The college authorities helped us with placements and preparations. Companies like Genpact, Vivo, Decathlon, Dainik Bhaskar, Policy bazaar, HGS and Justdial visit the campus regularly for recruitment.

The university conducts a Youth festival that sees colleges from over the state participate. The competitions in various categories include literary events and elocution, theatre, skits, dance, music, debate, and many more

In comparison with other B.Com courses at different colleges, the cost at HYU is considerably more affordable. It costs 54,000 rupees for the three-year course, which is pretty much feasible for the general public like us.

There are many extra-curricular activity options in the campus. Sports is popular among the students, and there are other cultural and technical events. Workshops are occasionally held to help our skill development.

There are hostels available which are decent enough to live in. The amenities could be better, but it's not too shabby. It is also not very costly, and there are both shared and single rooms available.

Admission to this college is through 10+2 results. Due to HYU Durg having a good reputation, I chose to apply here on the basis of my 12th board exams. I was selected on the merit list and I took admission.

The faculty members have the right qualifications. They make the topics interesting, and balance the right amount of fun and strict to keep us on track. They helped me learn everything I needed to know before going out into the world.
