Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is based on the UGC guidelines. It is a three year degree program which consists of six semesters. It has focused on imparting knowledge related to business. It has subjects like economics, accounting , business management etc.

Placement Experience

The college does not have a good placement record. It is not concerned about the job prospects of the students. As I was interested in joining my family business, I didn?t search for an alternative to get a job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is bare minimum. It can be paid without facing any financial difficulty. It charges around ?7,290 for the three year course. We can pay an amount of ?2,430 in the beginning of each academic years.

Campus Life

There are various opportunities available to the students for extra-curricular activities. The students can learn by reading books in the library. It has sports grounds for cricket, badminton, football etc.

Admission

The admission procedure is a simple process in this college. The admission to all the courses is done on merit basis. I applied to the college through my 12th boards marks and I got selected on the basis of that.

Faculty

I was impressed by the faculty members as they were always available to clarify the doubts. They are well qualified and experienced too. They look after the smooth conduct of the class. They encourage the students to work harder.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

There is no such difficult situation to get admission in our college usually one can apply to it only after passing higher secondary. You can apply to our college through any online cafe or mobile. There is a subject-wise separate fee for applying. Generally, the admission process in our college starts in the month of May and June. Yes there is advance reservation process. My college is the best in everything

If you pass your high school and have 70+ marks, you can apply addmission in our course. Then you get admission through a short test. Apply through online. application fees is 3500 and addmission date a 25/07/22. There is no facility for reservation. Better to update software....Read More
